Wildflower project: November 8th at 10am. We received approval to plant wildflower seeds on the west side of Hwy 3 in addition to the east side. We are set for planting on November 8th at 10am. The city will be tilling the west side. The east side will be planted with a seed drill tractor so as not to bury the seeds from last year. As a garden club we will focus on the area around our LCGC sign, and the idea is to plant that area heavily with bluebonnets to make our sign "pop". For those that want to help we will meet in the parking area on the northbound side of Hwy 3 and 96. I will ask that those wishing to participate bring a trowel and rake and gloves. Thanks to those of you that participated last year and for the good wishes from those that could not. There will not be an enormous amount of work in this, so if you would like to just bring a chair to witness that is fine, too. Watch for email or postings on our Facebook page for rainout changes. Any questions please text me: Jamie Hart ph;281-814-4805
