National Bird Feeding Month
February is National Bird Feeding Month. Visit the Dr. Ned and Fay Dudney Nature Center in League City. The park is located on the South Shore of Clear Creek off Highway 270 at 1220
Egret Bay North. Visit the web site for hours and more information. "The site is an excellent habitat for migrant birds, such as Sand hill cranes,
great blue herons, ibises, American egrets, great white herons, owls and various
song birds, which use the area to nest and feed."
